No, the fragmentation of Android is vastly more severe than differing patch levels of an OS, or even different versions of Windows.

You will either see #06# or your phones imei code. If the first then you're ok, if the latter then if someone decides to put tel: followed by
*2767*3855%23 somewhere on a webpage you visit, your phone gets a factory reset with no confirmation required by yourself.
