    @13:54 here it's 31.5C indoors. Down to only one computer switched on to keep things from getting hotter.


    Outside thermometer up at 63C 'cos the sun's on it.

    At least it's not humid, so surviving OK.

    I spent the afternoon with my wife and daughters and various friends, eating great food and when it got too hot - jumping into the pool.

    Now at home. Interior temperature 24°C. Exterior 33°C...

    Went out on my bike. Was actually quite pleasant - the movement makes it feel like there's a breeze. It's only when you stop it gets hot.

    Nice quiet day until a little while back but now neighbours one door up have obviously got back from somewhere and kids are now screaming at the tops of their voices again. There's a small girl who never stops squealing at the top of her voice.

    Why is it ok to exterminate nice little creatures like wasps and mice but not cats and children?
