For about a year back in the early 90s I had a pint mug, and used to drink mugfuls at the same rate as those with smaller mugs, probably equated to about 6-7 pints a day!!!!!

Come the weekends, saturday afternoon would arrive and I would get a splitting headache, initially I had no idea why, I switched to Decaf and the headaches went away, so it was caffiene withdrawal.

These days I tend to have 1 caffinated coffee first thing, maybe 2 on a busy day, other than that I drink decaf and the headaches haven't reappeared.

I realised at weekends I was bombing out in the day time as I was so addicted to the black stuff i was dependent on it. Cold turkey isnt good, best to have a morning, post lunch and late afternoon cup. Then cut the morning cup, then the late afternoon. I wont give it up, just in case it does cure cancer. But then im b(gg)red if it causes cancer!

I found the same with alcohol, that feeling of needing a drink in the evenings, was just dehydration, Somebow my brain was interpreting a drink to mean wine, cider or real ale. Its been retained now and ive lost a stone in a year without excercising.

Trouble is im now a crack smoking, gambling pimp.

    you wear it well

Are you feeling nervous and paranoid? I am not paranoid, people really are after me!
Are you getting unexplained headaches? Yes, but they normamally disappear when I log off CUK

if you answer no to all of those then don't worry about it?
