It made me fondly remember his previous seminal work in other childhood classics such as Rentaghost and Porridge. I never knew he was such a great character actor: I actually believed he was English back in those halcyon days of childhood.

Ahh very sad, always remember him in the classic Poseidon Adventure. Classic viewing on hungover Sunday afternoons. His IMDb page just goes on for ever!!! Not many people have work ranging from the Dirty Dozen right through to Spongebob Squarepants
