It wasn't, Airwolf was pants. It was something of a bully as it only took on rubbish helicopters with some crap rocket launcher strapped to it or some crop dusting type plane. You never really saw it up against something as new as itself.

Wasn't there an episode where Airwolf came up against a "bad" clone of itself? Or was that Knight Rider?
