I wouldn't go to the end of my road to see it if it was passing by.

It went past the end of my road. I didn't feel the need to get up at 05:30 on a Sunday to see it. I figured it might get a mention on the local news. I was not wrong.

Saw it yesterday. I particularly liked the Samsung workers taking photos using an iphone

It came past us and we went to watch. Quite nice to see lots of people come and watch, some guy came and passed out cheap Union Flags for us to wear.

There were LOTS of police but they were cheerful too - stopped to say hello and even high-fiving those in the street.

Was also nice they didn't get all officious and try to clear the street... the crowd parted for the torch-bearer, people ran along-side at the side of the road, etc.

Recession, what recession

Perhaps it was left over from all those nice new shiny roads? Had a lovely drive last year from Rosslare to Belfast using all the EU sponsored motorways. The only slow bit was round Dublin (obviously).

It went past our front door a couple of weeks ago. Made me laugh that the street cleaning mini-lorry went up and down the road four times. Could it be that they were on double time for Sunday?
