Working today and worked yesterday plus when we have bank holidays in Switzerland my boss allows me swap around my days and instead take a day off when I fly back to God's Country (Wales)

Yep. I once met a salesman whose sales area was in a Catholic Canton but head office was in Zurich. On Protestant holidays there was nobody to supply technical information or take orders, so he got both sets of hols.

No public holidays for me this week. Being in a protestant Kanton, we don't even have Corpus Christi. More billable hours - which is good.

Your local shops will probably be full of folks from other Cantons who have the day off.
