    Had the same Investment Bank and Agency chasing me for four weeks now to do their "test." Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours, they tell me.

    Told them to "fook off" every week for the last 4 weeks.

    Just got a phone call. Apparently they are now prepared to skip the "test."

    How sh** can this industry get? No wonder I just go out on my bike every day and enjoy the sunshine.

    Yep, full day for one permie job, presentations, interviews, group tests, psychometric. Had the worst headache of my life at the end. Got offered the job at 50% of my last contract rate. I was desperate....

    Not G4S is it?

    I had this, hour telephone interview then a 3.5 hour assessment that the agent said was 'only 1 hour'!

    Apparently everyone applying to G4S has to go through it but obviously tailored for the relevant role.
