I understand it to mean that the court decision overturns the whole directive, not to overturn all but security data.Originally posted by MailmanDont get too excited;

No, thats why it got overturned. The original agreement with the US to export the data was signed by the commison was based on the principle that security data was not coverd by the Data Protection Directive. The court has over turned this descision.
