I work away lots and use booking.com, laterooms and mondaytofriday.com if I'm in London.
I also always ask for a room on the top floor, right at the end of a corridor as I'm keen on quiet.
Breakfasts don't interest me, but free, efficient wifi is a must. I find some where I like and keep coming back. I've been at my current hotel 3 nights a week for around 18 months.

For what I can gather there is no set place people look, but I've heard laterooms mentioned and I think we're going to look into listing here as an option to get the word out.

    Thanks again.

    Pillows!

    You didn't mention pillows

We need firm pillows and mattresses, none of your girly panty waist duck down fluffy useless pillows that wrap around your head and don't support you.
Get it right or we're not coming

Free or cheap wifi used to be top of the list but the £15 a month I spend on broadband dongle usually negates that. I regularly use Laterooms for the reviews but will usually make my mind up if I can get Quidco cashback. A fitness room of some sort is a must if I'm doing a long stint. One feature I do like in Laterooms for when working in London is being able to put in a tube station and then finding digs in proximity.

Yeah, I like my little luxuries which means I can make the full use of my Sky subscription

I am just across the road from St Pancras at the moment in a £65/night room with a cheap and cheerful flat-screen and free wifi.

    Important things for me are

    1. Price
    2. Decent Breakfast
    3. Wifi (free or low cost)
    4. A mattress and pillows that you dont' sink straight through.
    5. A room that is nicely furnished and clean.

A TV with an HDMI port so I can plug my laptop into and still work also gets a plus point.

You might want to try talking to the chaps at Contractor Accommodation Services – Contractor Hotels and Rentals Booking Agency Nationwide, which is where I book hotels through when required.
