Instead of having these signs with "maximum purchase £20", they should go for "minimum purchase £20". That'd stop people putting in half a gallon just in case.

Gahh it's crazy with all the twunts filling their tanks. Massive queues of over an hour at the few stations with petrol remaining. So instead of just getting what i need, I had to get enough to last till next week.

For example? Quick scan of the headlines on clientco's newstand seemed to be PANIC BUY NOW in huge letters followed by "drivers urged not to panic" in tiny ones at the end. Not much said about the strikers on a casual glance.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostThe tabloids are giving the strikers a hard time in today's papers. Hard but fair.

Will not replace me mateOriginally posted by shaunbhoy View PostI expect they will just get a squaddie in to replace you.

, make no mistake. I am surprised they are being touted to drive lorries, I am surprised they are being allowed to do anything other than clean windows with their tongues.

I expect they will just get a squaddie in to replace you.Originally posted by Zoiderman View PostThey are just exploiting their situation. I bet you you would would do it too, and I would venture most on this board have extracted a pay rise by holding a project to ransom. I see no issues with it, to be honest; I have done, and will continue to do, the same.

Under those circumstances, and given that you can't fit a cigarette paper between the pair for gross stupidity, it hardly matters.Originally posted by eek View PostCan you stop using Dim's avatar? Its very hard to gauge how totally stupid the comment is when I'm not 100% sure who the poster is.
