    tramadol kicking in very high at present, but at least am home on my own bed. no driving for 4-6wk, sling for 3wk min should be able to climb and kayak in around 3-4mths tho

    I had industrial staples in my shoulder after the op and the drugs were strong enough to really make you drowsy a lot of the time.

    Driving will probably be an issue for a while, and if they give you strong pain killers for after the op which is a possibility then you can be off work for weeks
