Non existent in Cloggers. In fact I had forgotten it was Paddy's day until Mr N who is English wished me a happy St Patricks day

Not as bad as I thought it would be, only one load of yobs walking through the neighbourhood last night.
One of our neighbours a few doors down didnt have a house party for once either, so a nice peaceful night for once.

Good to see you started early. Another hour and you'll be singing the Men Behind the Wire like the best of them.Originally posted by wim121 View PostIndeed. I dislike the whole behaviour surrounding St. Patricks day, even though I do love getting drunk from time to time.
In the UK it is a lousy excuse for Brits to get drunk, which is a bit of a 'racist stereotype' (so the lefties would say) of the drunken Irishman but even those raving liberals don't seem to care which is rather hypocritical.
Nearly everyone in England knows when St. Patricks day is, but hardly anyone knows when St Georges day is. Then again, it's mascot isnt a drunken leprechaun so no-one cares.
Mrs OG is trying to find a respectable way of nipping for a pint of Guinness with a 3 year old and baby in tow.
