I strongly agree with that. At my kids school they search the kids for knives before they go in. If they don't have one they get handed one...

10 years ago, high school in Pollok, Glasgow, used metal detectors at the front door.

Just a few of the reasons why we have looked to migrate elsewhere .....

Britain isnt a lovely rose garden with a picket fence and little boys and girls without mobile and with parents not knowing exactly where they are, riding their bikes in the street or going to the beach or field for a kick about with the only requirement to be back before dark like it was when I was younger. That was back in the 80's and early 90's for me in nicer areas, however that isnt even possible in more rural areas now.

Instead, nowadays you have to give your kids a mobile and a knife for their birthday, classy!

Statistically there were more Children murdered during the 70s than now and peado's were still everywhere (more chance it was a relative), its just the fact you did not hear about it because there was not the reporting and access to information like there is now, UK is still fooked but every other country has its issues.
