Very easy to wind people up on MSE (even inadvertently) but it is very well policed as I found out... My first forum ban ever!

Problem is the number of sub forums in there. There is one for everybody. There is a houseprices forum which gets invaded by housepricecrash.co.uk folks quite regularly. There is a benefits forum which will make every tax payer cringe with agony but is heavily moderated. There is even a thread on increasing income where the ladies discuss how to make money while showing off their t1ts on cam etc etc.

I suggest:
Escouts is the largest Scouting Forum

Any medical condition website. Especially a quack one. They're always ultra-friendly to newcomers.

Any union forum. Starting thread "Iron lady made me think Maggie might have been OK after all".

What's yours?
Got a friend who lived in Guyana for 8 years. She said she knew she'd been there too long when her response to "you've put on weight" was "thank you".
