In which case you might as well just torrent it. Selling a CD means you have to delete your 'backup'.

iTunes or get the CD usually. Made a couple of purchases from Amazon in the past, but only because I had a promo code.

    What a quaint idea
Thinking that pirating is a new thing is the quaint bit I remember as a kid our public library rented out tapes and CDs for £50p, so my brother and I used our pocket money to 'raid' them.

Forgot they did digital music too, will add to my list since it's MP3 - actually higher bitrate than Amazon too (waits for someone to rant about how they only buy lossless downloads in FLAC).

I usually buy CDs and rip them myself. DRM free and I have a choice of ripping to any format / bitrate I like, including lossless or higher quality VBR if my player supports it.

I often use this for converting from lossless rips on my PC to something smaller / more compatible like 192KHz MP3. http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html

started a topic Where do you buy digital music?

Where do you buy digital music?

Looking for recommendations to buy non-DRM digital music. I normally use Amazon but I'd like other options too.

(Not interested in Spotify/streaming or torrenting/piracy)

Working...
