Not a pointer apparently. You could have a dozen customers and still get picked up as inside IR35 for one or more of them while outside for the others. I met a chap a while back that developed software for lots of people. Apparently HMRC got him on 3 or 4 of the clients (out of 20 in the year). But found him outside IR35 at his current gig which was a single customer big job.. No rhyme reason or logic.

Fair point - he'd have a job sending a sub, too. Then again I'd have to see his contract...

True, but that detail is lost on the BBC in any case, it's all about him not paying enough tax guv innit.

Yes its simple to identify, she told us so. Maybe they should tell HMRC how because they keep getting whipped in court. Pity the dodgy IT contractors so cleverly avoid just paying, then party supporters would be the only ones who get off tax free.

    Bingo!

The words "IR35" and "IT Consultants" have just been mentioned on Newsnight.

Even Maitlis is whinging that it's "not fair".

Considering they flogged all their buildings to a gang of offshore tax-dodgers, agreed to this bloke's "arrangement" and let Vodafone and Goldman Sachs off billions, and the new investigation into Public Servants with Ltd cos, they are probably crapping themselves not having a party. They certainly should be.
