Is there a rough ball-park figure that people save - like 25% for say warchest+tax+other fees each month?

Yeah, I have sufficient borrowing power for coulple months

I know my first priority is to build a warchest, so there wont be any crazy spending in the first year

CUK seems pretty slow too. Obviously everyone is terribly worried about getting (another) 10% knocked off their daily rate, and they are working like Trojans in a futile attempt to impress their clientcos.
