Point your aerial at Mendip instead of Wenvoe then.... (how do you "know" that you are receiving signals from Mendip? I know I am because that's where it's pointed and I get the "right" local programming).

Looking towards the bottom of this page about the Mendip transmitter, it seems that the problem is you're living in 1968 and thus getting ITV Harlech.
