Balls, got the box stuck on BBC Alba, the Gaelic channel

The setting updates can be a bit flaky. It may be on there for days...

Been having no end of trouble with my STB today

Turned out the DHCP server had somehow managed to give the same IP address as mine to somebody else's box

Yep, it'll need to be connected to the net somehow for the online feastures to work.

Another one: you want to record a programme but you've already got a different recording scheduled that overlaps. The box points out that it can't record both, but the second one is also available an hour later (on the +1 channel) and furthermore is repeated tomorrow morning. Would you like to record it at one of those times instead? Alternatively, you can change the previously-scheduled programme to instead be recorded when it's on again the day after tomorrow. The choice, as they say, is yours

One thing I'm impressed with is the interaction design that makes these potentially complex scenarios very easy to deal with. However I'm starting to go way beyond the limits of my NDA now, so I'll shut up
I could definitely use those features.

It's mainly about integrating stuff; it won't involve new dishes, although I don't know whether old boxes will be able to be upgraded or not.

Could be a Radio 4 play.

All Radio 4 plays set in the Victorian era have a lot of shouting.

And dodgy fake sounding accents too.
