    Same problem here; bought a pair of (not even very cheap) flip flops in south of Frogland on holiday, they tore up my feet in about 5 minutes so I bought some espadrilles instead and vowed never to wear flipflops again.

    That would make them even worse

    If your feet are getting cut up in flip flops then you're trying to walk to vigourously in them! Take it easier or wear foot wear more suited to your walking style
