Wilmslow - it's Ryanair. Not Ryan Air.
I flew back with them yesterday, flight was grand, on time... no hassle, in fact I slept the whole way.
For cheapass short haul flights, they are fine.

Use their branded card or pay £6.Originally posted by d000hg View PostThat part... I'm not sure I believe it because many will just give up at the extra hassle... but having to get a special card is the last straw.
As I said, if it's still cheaper, what's the problem.
It's not as bad as the 'online booking fees' scam that the concert ticket operators use.

You don't have to get the card. Ryanair have always provided some difficult means whereby you can avoid paying an extra fee that isn't shown up-front (not until you press pay, about 5 screens in). They like to change this system regularly to keep catching people out, and now they've gone further in that in order to avoid paying the 'surprise' £6 (each way), you have take up some awful credit card.Originally posted by d000hg View PostThat part... For short haul flights WGAS? Just take the same attitude as Wilmslow's girlfriends... don't accept their drinks and close your eyes until the discomfort is over.Originally posted by Sockpuppet View PostRyan air would be free and I still wouldn't travel with the sack of tulip that is them.

They are charging £6 per person per leg for payment charges...
Is that why Paul McCartney's ex travels exclusively with them?

If they are still cheaper even with all the extras, what's the problem?
If not, use another airline if possible.

I just pay the extra, sometimes pushing up the price to as much as £50 return.
