One of my friends came back from Bjorn Again, and by way of making conversation I mentioned that it was indeed a franchise type situation, with multiple Bjorn Agains. Surprisingly, she was really annoyed at the idea she had not in fact seen the genuine fake Abba.

Might have changed a bit since I saw them:
    From wiki
Björn Again is a tribute show to the Swedish pop group ABBA[1][2] founded in 1988 in Australia,[3] but now involving multiple touring troupes performing under the Björn Again name.

Saw them in '96 at Manchester University Freshers Ball

Glad to hear they're still going!

Bumped into a music promoter, who told me that the group most covered at the moment is Abba, something like 15000 (no jest) Abba cover bands in the UK. There are something like 10000 Led Zep style bands and then 8000 Beatles cover bands.

The least covered artist, but most in demand is Frank Sinatra. Massive demand for Frank Sinatra but no cover bands.
