I almost fell asleep looking at that car. Can you get anything more boring and plain than that?Originally posted by The_Equalizer View PostWeapon of Choice:

It doesn't really matter as it was bought to sell on. The auto box on these things blunts performance and the manuals are jolly rare.Originally posted by Churchill View PostNice.
Can't see the point in changing gear when you drive something like that though.
Anyway, here is another suggestion if it is a weekend plaything:

Two used Fireblades - HTHOriginally posted by ChrisPackit View PostI'm shortly after a weekend plaything but I'm not overly flushed at the moment so criteria would be:
- £10000 budget
- Must be 4 seat (or 2+2)
- Prefer an older Sports model where the depreciation has hit bottom.
- Must be reasonably fast.Last edited by Bod; 5 October 2011, 00:43.

Well, whatever you choose you can't go wrong with these chaps.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostOld, it's going to be trouble, lots of very expensive trouble. Probably rust issues too.

Trouble is for the same money as the 335i (which looks rather dull and common these days) you can get a 645i even in drop top guise, which I think is a better weekend plaything. The 335i is an IT bods commuter car, not a plaything.

Most say it's too hard, here's an SE that must be faster, although the mileage seems too good to be trueOriginally posted by DimPrawn View PostM Sport 335i has a more sporty suspension (read hard) and spoilers than SE and everyone knows cars with spoilers are faster.
