    It doesn't really matter as it was bought to sell on. The auto box on these things blunts performance and the manuals are jolly rare.

    Anyway, here is another suggestion if it is a weekend plaything:

    Trouble is for the same money as the 335i (which looks rather dull and common these days) you can get a 645i even in drop top guise, which I think is a better weekend plaything. The 335i is an IT bods commuter car, not a plaything.
