They followed me for a mile or so, I drove nicely, had no clue why.
Turns out I had 2 out of 3 brake lights off, the policeman checked tax (it was fine) and after I said I'll get it fixed tomorrow (Monday) he shook my hand and let me off.
The police in this country is certainly nowhere near corrupt as in Russia - you don't get police here taking protection money from chip/fish take aways and other shops, the worst what I can observe so far is that cops in some places might pass info to reporters.

The missus has already been round there and asked her outright....to which she confirmed she was in fact seeing men for money. A number of quotes I got through the relayed conversation was "it was for the money", "they are in such financial trouble", "<husband> makes her do it"! For **** sake, it was a lovely street to live in as well.
The missus has also been to the estate agent.
You can't keep these women on a short leash any more....what's the world coming to.
It might give us the kick up the arris we needed to find somewhere bigger anyhow. Just scared about that inevitable house price crash, but also fear if I wait for it too long I'll end up in bedsitsville.
So permutations are:
(Current house, Proposed house)
Sell and rent (for short term and buy in a while)
Sell and buy
rent and rent
rent and buy (I don't like this option - I don't mind paying over the odds if interest rates (ever) skyrocket on one house, but not on two)
What does the panel think?
