The next time you search for a job via an agent, and he tells you he's going to spend a couple of months trying to find someone to do the job for free, but will come back to you if he fails, you will remember this conversation

Punternet is all about service provision. You have to look at all the costs involved. Going to the pub, plying some likely candidates with Lambrini and maybe a trip to the kebab shop. Sometimes it's best (and cheapest) to purchase from an experienced provider with a track record of delivery in your required (and maybe specialist) field

started a topic A Wilmslowesque Evening

    A Wilmslowesque Evening

Monday the weather was fabulous but I felt a bit worn out after work so didn't bother walking up the road to my favourite little bar, sit outside in the sun, drink some wine and watch the traffic go by. As the forecast promised good weather for the next few days I decided to fore go on one of life's little pleasures and just stroll along to the little Asian and then go back to my room to watch the England and Germany games.

So along comes Tuesday and although the weather sometimes went a bit awry it was still in the mid-twenties, good enough for relaxing and imbibing so after a few hours of sitting twiddling my thumbs trying to look busy I wondered off a little bit earlier. After reading a few mails in my room I decided to get ready to go out but looking out of the window noticed that it was getting overcast and a bit windy. tulip, I thought, what shall I do? Decided to go that direction anyway as there's an Indian over the road which I can pop into, have a bite and see which way the weather turns. It didn't get better so back to the hotel room it was (for part 2.)

Today its looking better and it had bloody well stay better because I am not sitting in my room again. I even bought sitting outside, looking cool and relaxed clothing just for this situation this week. Bloody inclement weather

Working...
