Seems like you have the right attitude SP. You've milked that particular cash cow dry, time to find another.
Book yourself a nice holiday for 12 weeks time and enjoy some of that filthy lucre.

Have you tried seeing if you can transfer to a different project under one of the nice managers that find you invaluable? Is that a possibility at all?
If you are happy in your current place, seems a shame for it to end because of one trumped up dickwad ....

Welcome to Doomed Airlines. The seatbelt sign has been illuminated
Client Co has given me my marching orders
Well they've given me 12 weeks notice of my marching orders - ish. Below is the current situation among the staff at client co. Its like a bloody movie. I might have paraphrased the following.
Permie A (Direct Contact with Client): "We'll be ****ed if they let you go"
Permie B (Permie A's Boss): "Sockpuppet is an ass clown I want him gone"
Permie C (Permie A's Old Boss): "Sockuppet is great, wtf is B thinking".
Permie D (Permie C's Boss): "I'm pissed they gave control of the project to B but realize what A said is true so I'm going to say anything and laugh my tits off when it falls over".
Phoned up agent to say I was leaving and she doesn't believe me You couldn't make this up.Last edited by Sockpuppet; 28 June 2011, 12:49.Tags: None
