    Not all Bobs are bad

spent all day supporting another sites web application, don't think they have ever heard of locking. One user managed to crash all 8 interface programs 4 times.

Only a £30 million pound business with one customer

Wouldn't mind but they have had the ERP for 25 years and I don't think it stays up more than a week. The web is relatively new 5 years old and written by one programmer who doesn't do documentation. All British support staff.

Currently dealing with an Oracle project technically staffed by Bobs in their own country at least they care the implementation is in need of work

    Back tomorrow for more fun.

I replaced a team of them.

Well, sort of. I took over the maintenance of an app a Bob team had developed.

The same bugs copied and pasted all over the place.

No attention paid to record locking, but I can't blame them for that. They had inherited it from an English team.

    It paid well.

Some Bobs were released a few weeks ago and I replaced one of them, albeit doing something a bit different (and on the proper rate).
