A programming language in which all the keywords were profanities would be great, relieve one's feelings when you couldn't get it to work. Most of my variables are rude words obviously but the rest, if, do, function, try, catch etc just spoil it.

Web apps were around for more than a decade and trend only accelerates - that does not mean they are all in the cloud, usually people who talk about cloud don't know what the heck they are talking about (ie just repeating marketing slogans).

AtW, you seem to be very exercised by this thread. Is it because SKA is a failure?
It would be funny if I spent a year on this and made more money than SKA, wouldn't it?
And you know what ithats more than likely, because unlike your own sad "business" the people driving this have established track records in the business worlds, they're not sad techies with no social skills.

I would go with c#, if your doing an a web app then look at MVC.
Try applying for Microsoft BizSpark you can get for free the full MSDN package including full version of vs2010, expression blend etc. Sketchflow which is part of expression blend (full version) is pretty good for sketching out the pages in your app and can be a real time saver.

This is the strongest sign so far that you've gone too far from technical -> management to make this work.
