Definitely. If you pay it (or "Render unto Caesar" as is the technical term), you count as Righteous, and immediately get Raptured up into heaven to watch while the late-payers left down on earth get 5 months of Revelation-mandated fire and brimstone, like unto the torment of the scorpion. Otherwise you'll feel like a right chump.
