    I prefer to be on Swiss income but have German expenses.
    That way I get the benefit of well established customers but I don't have to live among them.

    They've got bilateral treaties with the EU, so there's the same freedom of movement. However, in order to be a plumber here, you have to go through two years of training, so it's just as difficult to find one as it ever has been.

    Sorry typo, the most expensive street in Durham city is terraced, is what I meant to say.
    As for London, watch The Apprentice to se where Sugar puts the contestants. Not to mention 10 Downing street is terraced.
