I was nearly 7 when the first one (4th) came out so the original trilogy spanned your 10 year old demographic near perfectly.

I must admit I only liked the 1st (4th) 2nd (5th) 5th (2nd) and 6th (3rd).

The other 2 were ghay and don't get me started on the Ewok spin offs.
