I can only assume that they class words such as "the", "and", "or" etc as key words as they are the only ones that match in my CV.

I suspect they are one of those places that thinks agile means
(a) Weekly incremental pushes from development to test
(b) Six-monthly heart-stoppingly huge pushes from test to production.

nope that's the point, no thought is required. it's called scatter gun marketing - fuzzy keyword search across cv database, poorly worded email that treats you like simpleton, hit 'send to all' job done! unbelievably you can actually earn money doing this...

still like Nigerian email scams they only need 1% to respond to make it worthwhile and those Nigerian scams have been around since the 70's can't see agent spam going anywhere soon, thank god for spam filters

There are an awful lot of "I's" and "me's" in the OP's quoted drivel from an agent.

Which indicates an over-inflated sense of self-worth and an egotism bordering on the maniacal.

OP : There's no need to name and shame. I think we can all believe without proof that this is indeed a bona fide communication from a Rec Con.
