The second reich was terminated after some troubles with sausages from Tanganyika and a chap called Archie Duke who was shot after a Franz Ferdinand concert in Sarajevo.

The first Reich was actually the Holy Roman Empire, which ended up not being an Empire at all and didn't have very many Romans in it.
