Well there's something I didn't know. Being a Northern lad I have worn a flat cap on most days since I was in long pants, but have never heard the word "bunnet" before.

Suitability for the over 60s is fine or if you're wearing green wellies and have a stick and a dog. Unfortuantely they are appearing as choice headwear amongst chavs I've noticed.

So if you're not on Emmerdale or a definitive chav it looks like you're wanting to be one or other.

Well, put it this way, I don't plan on wearing one for another 30 or 40 years. My dad always used to complain about the old codgers wearing them and driving around on Sunday afternoons at about 20 mph. Then he got himself one
