Intercity now stopping and starting behind a 'sprinter' train due to delayed departure from Utrecht. As per ******* usual.

Amazingly, I´ve got a seat on the late Friday afternoon intercity out of the Hague. This is a first. I see only one person standing in first class. I´ve even got one of the sparsely provided electricity sockets.
A very attractive girl with a cello is sitting in the in-betweeny area at the end of the carriage. I hope she starts playing.
Something must yet go wrong.

Nice one, roads were quieter than normal today. I did M40 > M42 > M6Toll > M6 J18 and it was fine. I did think about doing a Thursday evening runner, but the full days pay for 4 hours work tempted me into teh office this morning!Originally posted by Pogle View Post2hrs 40mins
