I made the mistake of using the underground from Aldgate East to Victoria the other week. On a short flight like that, assuming you don't get a load of chavs, economy is fine of you're not tall or fat. My money's on fat. A fat, bald permie.

New company cost-cutting - everyone however senior has to travel economy.
Went to Stockholm - it was a nightmare. They give you some sort of bun to eat in your cramped seat
