Do not use washington to renew
I put my passport for renewal to Washington in late June.
It still has not arrived - not heard a thing.
WTF are these people doing?
it costs 5 times more to renew than a US passport which is done and delivered in 5 working days.
My countersignature was a US 'physician' - he thought it was hilarious that the level of security was so poor and you didn't have to be seen in person to verify your identity.
