Just makes sure you check the credentials of whomever you get to do the work. You know, family background etc. Need to make sure they're 'proper british' and not just here on some legal loophole, like being born here or somesuch nonesense.

On the other hand you could treat the person you hire with respect instead of hoping you can wriggle away if they are injured. Just get insurance. They can claim, you don't have to pay the costs.
