There's bound to be a distributor somewhere. I'll ask my GF's mate who's their Marketing guru.Last edited by MarillionFan; 15 June 2010, 07:53.

The nearest Waitrose to Leeds is Otley, I think. OK if you're there with a car and a pleasant place to visit on a summer's evening. Harrogate by train if no car, also a pleasant spot at this time of year.Originally posted by cojak View PostIt's ok, my hairdresser (fount of all knowledge) has told me that Gregg's yum yums put in a microwave for 10 seconds almost taste the same as KK's.
(Sadly I can't find a Waitrose either...)
A brand spanking new one will open on 30th September, if you are still in that neck of the woods then.
I'm pretty sure there was one in Roundhay, but that was yeeears ago.

S'funny you should say that cos after a curry.... early in the morning when I let rip with one of those wet and lumpy ones Mrs D often says 'is that a "little chocolate chunk muffin?!" or have you done a MF you filthy Barsteward!!!'Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostDrewster. Our Tesco used to do US-style boxes of glazed ring doughnuts, as opposed to sugar-sprinked lumps of chewy dough in a paper bag.
I never found any shop that has consistent doughnuts, they all tend to vary between light and delicious, and stodgy and 'wet'. Shame because a good doughnut is wonderful.

I caught some of an episode of Life After People last week and there was a bit in there regarding food.Originally posted by Sysman View PostAre Krispy Kremes a Yank product?
If so, beware what goes into Twinkie Bars.
I am told that before baking, Twinkies look like pellets of grey axle grease, allegedly, of course.
They mentioned Twinkie bars would still be edible 30 - 100 years after their best before date!
