Can't help but just to let you know that I do understand and symptahise. I have enormous problems distinguishing June from July, December, 16 dollars or songs by Abba these days

    Dear Mr. MMM,

I am very glad I could have been of service! It was very clear that you accidentally booked for the wrong date and for this reason we have decided to refund the paid amount.

Mr. MMM, I wish you a very nice weekend and I do hope we can welcome you again in one of our hotels in the near future.

    Yours sincerely,
Well done. £350 saved. Should cover the cost of bubbly for saving it! You are a contractor after all

I could never sleep on the train. I always tried to be in bed by 9 on Sunday night, with a taxi booked for 4:30 the next morning (no buses at that time).

The cat making a racket to get in after 9 disrupted my plans for an early kip the first couple of weeks. The strategy I developed was to kick cat out early Sunday morning and not let it in for the whole day. It would then want to come in before I went to bed

Anybody want a ticket for the 18:00 for Euston on Friday of next week or the 5.05 on the monday after?

I assume you didn't call the lovely lady at head office a "fooking koont" during the conversation that led to this happy state of affairs

Lying and fraud have harmed quite a few people over the years.

It is however impossible to do harm to nobody, as there is nobody to do harm to, thus your statement is correct. I find this almost impossibly annoying.

******* Hell, the room isn't booked for another month, you really think they won't book it to someone else?
