If the country wasn't in the position that it has to borrow from abroad at record levels to keep itself going then the markets wouldn't matter so much.

    Unfortunately ....

Brown needs to be PM in the event of a hung parliament. It is absolutely essential to secure the recovery and help the hard working families. Also, this borrowing binge needs to continue. We are borrowing 25 Billion each month and this cannot stop.

Brown is PM until he gives up or can't get a government... simple as that according to my understanding of the discussions on the constitution.

started a topic Hung Parliment, what next?

    Hung Parliment, what next?

    what next then?

    here's the options

the snot goblin looks unlikely to be allowed first go as he cant form a minoirty gov buovt if lib dem win enough seats he will look to form a coaition, you cant get rid of him yet IMO
tories will be likely to say they won but not quite and so would want to form a minority gov, most likely with n ireland unionists

who knows.. my prediction is the snot goblin doesnt give up easily, he waits until the last day before announcing the election, he got in by not even being elected, he'll change whatever it takes to claim legitimacy and arrange a gov assuming clegg would allow him..
