I bought a 'book' called 'Manage Your Business Processes Using the Excellence Model' by the British Quality Foundation. It cost £12.60.

Only it's not a book, it's a booklet containing a grand total of 27 pages.

    They saw me coming...

I wish my ITIL book was only 27 pages.

A classic scam in the 80's was to put an advertisement in the back of a magazine offering to sell the secrets of how to make easy money, sit back and watch it roll in.

    Intrigued. I bought one.

I got two pieces of printed A4 in a booklet form, which explained how to place an advert in a magazine and do the same.

When I was a student in the late 80s, one of our course books cost £35 for 60 pages. The copy in the library got copied a few times...

Shocker but you should be writing this stuff, not buying it.

You made a mistake by buying a 'management' book. They are generally beyond the ken.

What you want to spend you money on is something like An Atlas of Functions Just open it anywhere and be taken aback by the breath taking beauty of a cubic.
