That's always the best way - clients should know that if you can't find anything positive to say, then the guy is useless.

If they don't know that, then more fool them.

I really dont know how this guy manages to find work but that's another matter. I dont want to be associated with this person.

What should I do if Im asked about this person seeing as we 'worked' at the same client site previously?
Could almost be talking about me.

Is he a cowardly rascist? i.e. only says things behind their backs?

Wait till he gets off site and kick him in the nads, explain to him that is how it feels to be racially abused

Professionally, he isnt very good. He was actually terminated for unsound work at the last client but another manager who was a mate brought him back! Eyebrows were raised and questions were asked about that I can assure you. When he came back he worked in another area but people told me they'd regularly complain about his lack of work. When his last contract ran out, he wasnt renewed.

    As a person, he's racist.

    But good advice nonetheless.

There is no place for that in the workplace, you need to behave professionally however bigoted and idiotic your private opinions.
I agre. He came out with the 'N' word in the office when no permie's were in earshot. I told him that wasnt acceptable and he just laughed.
