Gave up at 10 mins and mailed them. Turns out the numpty supplier had entered the wrong meeting ID on his phone and was waiting in the wrong virtual meeting room.Originally posted by The Wikir Man View PostIf it's a free call, I'll wait forever, just counting how much I'm earning for doing nothing.
If it's not, give them 10 minutes then leave, send them an email, and reschedule.

I think it's more of a trade off betweenOriginally posted by Paddy View PostThere must be a mathematical formulae for working out the waiting time taking into consideration, length of conference/meeting, importance of meeting, number of people in meeting, value of disruption, waiting time etc.
1. how important the meeting is to you
2. how important the meeting is to the organisers (if you didn't organise it)
3. how important your presence at the meeting is
if 1 is on top then wait
if 2 and 3 are more important than hang up and wait for someone to email/call your mobile with an apology for being late!

Oooh , I'd say about.....
15 mins, then re-schedule.
Invoice the supplier directly for the .25 hours, so your client can be
compensated for the suppliers mis-use of your time.
