I misread this as biker Ovenmits and then spent several minutes wondering why you'd want ovenmits in a biker stylee.

Oh God I am dumber than a bag of wet mice today

Best combination I've found for racing in the cold cold mud is Vaseline, them disposable cotton builders gloves as liners, and then some tough gloves over the top. When the hands become too warm, you can just take the over mits off. (When generally am warmed up, take them off, clip together, and throw them over the bars). Afterwards I can just throw the liners away.

The overgloves are "Subzero Winter Glove" from Specialized, they come with a liner, but I don't use that one as it's too warm. Although the liners do make for a quite natty pair of gloves in their own right.

    WTF has happened to Belstaff???!!!????

They've gone all trendy, non-biker and expensive!!!!

So I'm a bit stuffed now, I haven't come up with an equivalent, so - any ideas?
Is he the type that is happy to have those all covering hand things that the despatch riders wear or is he a tad more style concious than that and just wants some good over gloves??

I use Hippo Hands. They ruin the styling of the bike but boy do they keep your hands warm in winter.

what kind of bike has he got? cos if he gets cold hands then the muffs that fix to the bars are best at keeping your hands warm...especially combined with heated grips
