And, of course, the main thing is that it must not make a loss.. I don't care if it can be offset against tax...

started a topic CUK Training Camp

    CUK Training Camp

Do the panel believe that there would be any benefit in a CUK Training Camp/Seminar?

    Well what does that mean?

Well, hiring a venue for a few days every now and then, and then having certain expert members (or trainers) take other CUK'ers through overviews/training etc.

Now, it aint going to free! and for those doing the training they should expect a day rate. But if organized properly, then in theory is should work out cost effectively.

So for example, my background is BI/Data Warehousing. My skills are Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal, OBI EE, SQL Server SSIS, SSRS, VB, SQL, Excel VBA. For example I have given paid training courses on SQL, Excel and VB. So mine are technical.

Or for example an overview for BA's or UML - etc etc.

Just a thought. It would take some effort & planning to organize and it would depend on whether the site has members with the skills/time?

Working...
