Did they ever resolve the issue of the wrong Portland Stone being used for the annexe - seem to recall the Evening Standard got quite a bee in its bonnet about it

I had a library card there for many years and lived just 10 mins walk away from it.
Of course its a reference library so its a bit of a pain, you have to log onto a terminal and order the books wait 2-4 days then they arrive but you can't take them home.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced (unlike the station), the atmosphere was busy and calm both at the same time, there were wonderful galleries and exhibitions and you could find a quiet spot to sit and read a newspaper without worrying about not buying anything.
What a find. I will definitely use it again...
I contracted there a few years ago and the staff restaurant is garbage. it was a bad find.
