    I'm well impressed. I think it would be Porn if it was the private eye crossword, but in this instance (the Listener), Pulp seems correct. ( I should have got that one. )

    I'm not particularly confident about this, but another word for carnal could be "sensual" and if you take the heart (centre bit) out of that then you get "seal". Which is a kind of beast. Perhaps.
